Hey guys. Had a cool day today. Went to school for NDP celebrations. On the way, Secondary students and children were dressed in red, which is like a tradition . Anyway when I reached school, everyone was like gathering beside the parade square, mainly because the band members practised the Majulah Singapura song. Saw some 2E1s and realised everyone in the class, including Mrs Koh, had wear the class tee, which is cool.
Anyway morning assembly had the solemn national day tradition where they brought in the flags (dramatically?). Anyway when they brought in the flags, Jen Shen was like nodding his head and following to the band's tune and Mrs Koh was like -.- . Haha damn funny.
Next celebrations were held at the hall, and the SCs had to sit behind at the hall. Then we occasionally had to go down because the ICs wanted to sort out who was in-charge of which games. At the same time there was Singapore Rocks Idol at he hall so the crowd was restless. Then they had the final item which we had to go up stage to excite the crowd (?). Oh well it was nice to hear the crowd cheering and singing along.
Then games were held all around school to make the day more interesting. I was in charge of Xbox, so I got to see people play (the all-popular) Halo 2. It was kind of cool since we were playing at school o.o . Oh well didn't get to see or play any games, especially floor ball =( .
Then packed things up and ate at canteen before going back up to hall. By the time we reached there some classes were already dismissed. Got magnets as a souvenier o.o . 2E1 had a photo or two together so I would expect that we would be receiving it when the time comes o.o .
Went home together with some of the 2E1 boys and went up to the usual hang-out place to play soccer. Played (fiercely ?) and managed to score only once. Then when I wanted to take control of the ball I tripped and Ding Hao tripped on me. My right side of the chest hurt but it wasn't serious. But had a bruise at my arm so it still hurts.
Then went home and ate lunch before going to Friday prayers at Assyafaah Mosque. Then went back home before catching up with Salam, Hizami, Isa and Praveen to play street soccer. We played with some older teens from Innova JC (?). It was cool and blocked some hard shots from them. I twas a great game but we lost I suppose. Returned home with cold sweat soaking my shirt. It wasn't an everyday experience to play street soccer, and this was the first time I played a proper game of it.
Well I guess that's it for the highlights for today. Tomorrow's NDP, so I hope there'll be plans to go out (?). See ya guys when the time comes ^^. Bye!
