I'M FREE AT LAST!!!/ 7:09 PM
Sunday, March 23, 2008

Hey guys, sorry for the long wait. I was so busy with all the homework I didn't have to time to blog. I'm sure most of you know about what had happened at school last week(if you want to know go to the links I have this blog, the guys will tell you what had generally happened at school), so I'm just gonna skip to Friday till today onwards.

FRIDAY
I was so lazy to do my homework, I played the computer instead (I was tired from Thursday's Sports Carnival) in the morning. At about half an hour after noon I went to Darul Makmur Mosque with Zaini. There, beside having our Friday prayers, we heard a talk about Prophet Muhammad. After the prayers, we wanted to go off but it was raining and the mosque's workers invited the Muslims to go on a feast to celebrate Prophet Muhammad's birthday(which was the day before, 12 Rabiul awal in Islam calender). Sinced they insisted, we were indulging on the delicious nasi minyak, with others who went for the prayer. Even if I bought a Mc Donalds meal which costs about $5, it still couldn't please my stomach. Ironically, the FOC food made me full.

After the pleasing meal Zaini and I went to his house to hang out. He showed me some guitar tunes that he learnt and some computer games and videos. Then I went home and took a quick rest before playing the computer again(my laziness triumph triumph and I was into gaming). Then I went of to sleep.

Homework(s) done:NONE

SATURDAY
During the morning I went to school for video editing workshop. After that went to the foodcourt with Isa to eat lunch and met up with Hizami there. Then went off to home. Much to my dismay, there were tons of homework that needed to be done. I slowly but surely did my work from afternoon to night but was easily distracted by television.

Homework(s) done: Malay textbook questions
The words I didn't know at Readers' Digest article
1 of the 2 newspaper articles

Sunday
Continued doing my homework in the morning. Then I was left with Malay essay and "My Birthday" topic. Then went off to religious class. When I returned, I did my final work and was finally free from homework. Yahoooooooooo!!!!(Always wanted to say that) And here I am, blogging about what happened. Now I'm off to play World In Conflict, see ya!

Homework(s) NOT done: NONE

The Road To Being A Leader(Beware of the long entry)/ 8:18 PM
Saturday, March 15, 2008

Hey just got back from Ridhwan's house to do IPW an hour or so ago. Didn't have the video cam with us, so we made the props 1st. Ridhwan and I had a quite hard time walking, because of the Physical Training (PT) at SC camp. Speaking of it, let me write a few stuff about what had happen during the camp.

Arrived at school on Thursday, 7.30 am. The camp started at 8, and then there were some intros from the instructers. I was assigned to group 4. We had quite a good time during Ice Breaker, and we decided to call ourselves PITA(Pain In The Ass =D ). We then had some activities that focused on working as a team. Most of my team members, includig yours truly, were quite disgusted when we were asked to pass ping-pong ball with our mouths. Then the groups competed in the tallest straw structure. It was exciting and there were interesting structures like the U-Turn =).

Anyway, let's forward to the Amazing Race. Our group did badly(well the worst compared to others) when organizing it, but others did same so we got a little scolding. We soon didn't feel down anymore as there was campfire. And to add to the excitement, the ambassadors joined in the celebration. We had a fun time together, singing along and dancing like there's no tomorrow at the Parade Square. Then the SCs slept at the hall.

At about 2a.m. or so, I was sleeping peacefully when I heard the instructers shouting. It was Turn Out(or whatever it's called), and SCs were running to the Parade Square like hell. I still have bad memories of it, as it was very suprising(which made me terrified). We had to do push-ups(I couldn't handle it so I was told to do sit-ups. We had harsh training, but little did we know
the challenge that was awaiting us...

3 hours of sleeping again after Turn Out, we were told to wake up again. This time, I was not ready in attire, so I had to do punishment. We then had some hellish jumping jacks. After that we went for a morning run(jog you could say). It wasn't tough for me(I like running=D), but about half of the SCs can't take it and didn't run.

Fast forward to Friday prayers. Most of the Malay boys(including me) went to Assafa'ah mosque. After prayers, we took our time and returned to school. Immediately after we reported to the instructers, the Amazing Race organized by the Excos. I had to help them in telling the participants what to do in one of the stations. I liked the station where teams were asked to be blindfolded. The participants enjoyed the race, but the instructers weren't pleased by the unorganized parts of the race.

After a few final words we at last went home. I really missed the camp, the experience, and the people there. I really learnt a lot, and I'll try my best to be a leader. Well, I think that's about it. I'm really not feeling great with all the unfinished homework and assignments. See ya later.

Beginning of March holidays/ 8:44 AM
Saturday, March 8, 2008

Okay, so there's a lot of things going on during the March holidays. But 1st, let;s talk about what had happened during the past few days.

Thursday
During morning assembly, had to lead the pledge cause the seniors are not in school. Quite nervous, but went on pretty well. During assembly, had an interesting talk. About gaming and pornography. I wasn't excited as the perverts in 2E1, but I learned a lot of tips regarding these 2 subjects. After school, had IT course again, but was cut-short cause had to go for SC duty. Amalina and I was assigned to the registration for the parents during the Meet The Parents session. Phew! Went pretty smooth. Then when duty was over, headed to the MPS venue. Got some good remarks.

Here are my results:
English-C5(Must try harder)
Malay-B3(Work harder too)
Maths-A1
Science-A2
History-A1(Did very well. Hope can score full marks :D)
E.Lite-B3
D&T-A2
Art-A1

Friday
Had to do the pledge again. This time at parade square. I had butterflies in my stomach. Anyway, quite good today. History lesson was quite fun today. The class talked about the good old times, even if 2E1 didn't experienced it. E.Literature too was exciting. Well, for the pervs of course. The class started to talk about pervertic stuff, and Ms. Jasmine showed us a horny poem of couple having sex. The class became quite wild. Then after school, went to Yishun mosque with Ridwan for Ffriday prayers. Then went home.

Saturday(today)
Not much going on right now, but later Shi Yin will come to do resaerch on public speaking. He said that at 2 he'll be going to JC's house to do IPW. I have to buy court shoes(or whatever it's called), black socks and long shool pants(wth) by Tuesday(or maybe Monday), so thought of going to buy today.

Near future...
Let's see the schedule....
Monday-there's Maths and Eng remedial, then public speaking, then SC investure training, Lighthouse camp(maybe won't go).
Tuesday-Sci remedial, SC training again
Wednesday-Malay remedial
Thursday & Friday- SC camp. Most likely will be tiring.
Saturday& Sunday- IPW project filming.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay so the holidays aren't much of a holiday. But as they say, work hard 1st, enjoy later. Bye!

Hello/ 4:07 PM
Saturday, March 1, 2008

Okay, ordinary things happened recently, so don't expect big. Just now the United Lights (except Shan Te) came to my house for IPW. While doing, showed Read1 World In Conflict demo. Shiok game. Then the girls continue the work when they go home. Then they left. See? Told you nothing big happened.

And another thing. I really hope to change my blog skin. But won't work. Can't change the skin to right format. Haiz... Then I didn't really score very high for Term 1, but I'll try my best to get distinctions for all my subjects. And I really hope some changes in my life. Like new friends or something. Okay, off I go!
