Tiring Thursdays/ 8:39 PM
Thursday, January 31, 2008

Today was tiring. My leg was cramped from yesterday's morning run (I like to push myself to the limit sometimes), so I wasn't walking comfortably. During History class, more than 3 quarters of the class failed History test 1 (at least failed to pass Ms.Margeret's standards), and I was the top scorer, with 18 out of 20 marks for the test, with 0 marks for 1st 2 questions. Aw, should have studied the workbook. Nevermind about that. Those who had to sit outside had to to be retested during History remidial later on. Which means the class will get marks as high as I had, or so Cher Tian said.

Anyway let's skip to after school. I had Sahiba and a few from MT class were selected to go to the qualifiying rounds. The 2 Sec 1s playing in my table was pro, and Rabiah was like blur blur. Luckily, I managed to steal a word from one boy, otherwise I'll be out just like Rabiah. Cikgu Lisda said tomorrow there's going to be another qualifiying round, I don't know if I can make it cause I'll be going Friday prayers, but it's likely I'll be out because of default.

Tomorrow will be quite a long day, so I'll be tired when I arrive home. Next week there's 2 days I won't have to go to school because of Chinese New Year. Yay, but no plans for going anywhere cause exams are coming. Well see ya!

/ 7:57 PM
Monday, January 28, 2008

Well today was any other ordinary day, had to get back my Journal cause did only 1 entry, 1 very LONG entry. Haizz, needed to do to more entries. About the whole class didn't do Journal properly. During mother tongue, Cikgu Lisda changed seats for some "lucky" pupils. Then nothing much going on with Ms.Margeret's lesson (which means boring things to write going on).

During recess, some of the guys were copying Math homework(either they didn't do or they didn't do properly). Then it was Maths lesson. We moved on to a new topic, so new challenges. We went to the lab during Science class, and I was seating at the last row, so I couldn't figure out what was really going on. Then after school the guys who contributed to class decoration by giving money were told to meet Mrs.Koh. We waited but at last didn't get my $5 back since Mrs.Koh wasn't there.

Arrive home and took a bath, then prayed and did my homework. Nothing interesting to do at home...oh wait. There's D&T test tomorrow! Oh no need to study! Got to go, bye!

I Know What I Did Yesterday/ 7:17 PM

First off, I wanted to write something for my blog yesterday, but was distracted by all the homework that had to be done. Actually yesterday's religious class was quite fun. Mustaqin was reading nonsense when the teacher told him to read the text. lols. During break, me and the other guys bought instant noobles from 7-Eleven, then headed off to our usual hang out place, which is the 2nd storey of block 678, to eat our food. We were like, stranded beggars who found food or something, cause we were sitting on the dirty floor eating in 1 circle, lol. Our second teacher for the class was fun. He was very communicative and understood problems faced by teens. I hope I get to go for next week's class.

Thursdays/ 4:20 PM
Thursday, January 24, 2008

Hello again. Blogging again cause nothing much to do today. But a chain of events happened just now, so let's start from the time I arrived at school.

Arrived at school about 7a.m with Hizami. The 2E1 guys were there. Hizami remembered me that there was Math homework so I rushed to complete it. But unfoturnately, The school bell rang and we had to go up to the hall. A lot of discipline talks at the hall, so let's skip that part. By the way, the hall was NOT a good place to have reading period. Reason is some of us get cramped with the limited space available, so we had very little concentration on our reading, and a result some were figiting and chatting among themselves.

During history class, Ms. Margeret (I refuse to insult her by calling her "maggot", cause I don't want to get in the hate "maggot" scheme) scolded the class for not being responsible as students, and Melvin was scolded because he didn't hand in his work.

During recess, I brought along my notebook and my pencil and eraser to do my Math homework. I didn't eat cause I was fasting today. Anyway, Cher Tian, Praveen and Ridhwan also brought along their notebooks to finish their work. I eventually solved the Math questions, thanks to the help of Hizami, Cher Tian and Shan Te.

When it was Math period, not much of interesting things going on, but I got used to the "X" method for factorization. After the period was over, we(the 2E1 Malays ) headed down to MT room for Malay class. Had a class test. It wasn't very hard, but I doubt that my story will be very good. The same goes for English test during English period. Was identified by Ms. Margeret for slightly doing wrongly in the format(added comma when there was no need to -.-). I think I wrote too much, but so did it seem for the rest of the class.

The drama really happened during FT period. Mrs Koh walked in with a furious look on her face. She scolded us for the bulliying case which happened between Joshua and Kuan Hung. She was right. No one has the right to bully anyone, friend or foe. Then she said she noticed that only a few had applied for the license, well the other who had phones did not have license. That led to the confiscation of 16 handphones for bringing handphone to school illegally.

After school, I headed home by the back gate but it was locked. So I went to the main gate and ther seemed to be a commotion at the entrance, which seems that pupils who had SST today went out but were caught by Mr.Teo. I then met up with Isa, Hizami and Ridhwan. Hizami wanted to use Ridhwan's handphone (which was licensed, of course), but Mdm.Koh( THE principle) spotted both of them and Ridhwan was scolded by her for using the phone BESIDE the fountain, when it should be used outside G.O which was a few metres away.

Finally, headed home with Isa, Hizami and Ridhwan. We were talking a lot while walking home, and Isa was trying to figure out how he should tell his parents about the confisation of his handphone (good luck to him). It seemed all we were taling about was handphones and what happened duing FT period, so no point in telling what exactly we were talking about. I finally went to home when Isa, Hizami and yours truly reached Mc Donalds. Ah...what an interesting day it was. Let's see if I could write all of these in my journal ?:D Well got to finish this post up, so till the next time, bye!

Weekly Report/ 11:04 AM
Saturday, January 19, 2008

Hello again guys. Nothing much to do so decided to blog. Everything was as usual yesterday. The 2E1 guys were at the canteen before school. Most were doing E.Lite homework(they had one week to do it but they only did it just hours before the next lesson?), so it wasn't surprising to see some asking for my E.Lite book.

At reading period, some classes were at the hall to read MT reading materials. Yazid, Isa and some other were agitated so they talked. The teachers were far from their presence so they didn't care. Classes were as usual, and IPW seems to be getting interesting...

During Maths period we were getting confused with the new sub-topic(Algebra Factorisation), but I eventually got the hang of it (although I seem to forget some of the methods -.-). Then school was over so went to the mosque to do Friday prayers.

Then went back to school to go to CCA. After it ended met up with Cher Tian, Azam and Iqbal. Rode 913 to Admiralty MRT with Azam and Cher Tian(I was lazy to walk), then bought Hot Fudge Sundae with Orea cookie toppings. I got an idea from someone that you could make your own Mudpie McFlurry by buying Hot Fudge Sundae and Orea Cookie toppings and mix it. I tried and it was almost the same (may not be as goodly mixed as the original one, but this one cost $1.70, which is cheap).

Came back home and rested for a while then played GE. GE keeps causing my computer to restart suddenly when playing for a few minutes (-.-), so I thought GE's becoming uninteresting to me.

Well for today, nothing going on. Played GE and Quake Wars just now, and currently blogging. I don't know what's to happen later on today, but tomorrow there's religious class so I'll be looking forward to it. If you're playing Granado Espada, ad me as friend as UchihaSurvivors, and maybe join Oasis faction. Till the next time, Bye.

Things Going On Recently/ 6:40 AM
Sunday, January 13, 2008

Hey guys nice to know that you're cheking out my blog. Quite a lot of things has been going on yesterday, so let's start from the top.

Yesterday, I had nothing interesting to do at home. My mum's using the laptop, and my grandmother was watching cable TV and the TV programmes at Singapore were not so interesting at that time (unless you like Winx Club). At that time, I didn't started on my homework (mind's not focused). I then remembered that I went to LAN gaming shop with Zaini that day, so I decided to go there (alone -.-).

This time, I didn't go to the regular LAN gaming shop. Instead, I went to another one which cost the same per 2 hrs but has more games in it. Played Counter-Strike there (frequently died cause of headshots -.-"). I wanted to play online with Zaini but didn't know where to go so I played solo with bots.

After finishing the game, I went to Mac Donald's and eat lunch. Then I went to Sembawang to pray noon prayers before heading off home. Went I retuned, I thought that I could use the computer, but it turns out, my little sister was playing games in it (that's the bad thing about sharing, it's a 1st-come-1st-serve rule. That's why I'm blogging earlly in the morning ^^), so I started to do Math homework. Eventually figured out the answers, but I'm not quite sure with question 14.

At evening, my mother, grandmother, 2 sisters and me went to an eating place around the Woodlands Checkpoint area, because yesterday was my Grandfather's birthday(happy birthday!) so we had a little family gathering (well actually there were about 20 people). It's nice to see my relatives again, knowing that everything's all right with the family. The food was delicious (couldn't finish my food and Milo Dinosaur :D), and it wasn't finished so my relative asked if she could "take away" the gravy and the other dishes home.

Well that's about what happened yesterday. See ya..

School days are back.../ 3:38 PM
Monday, January 7, 2008

Wow, it seems like just a few months ago I was at ADSS for the 1st time. Now it's my second year, and it's time to get serious with studies. I just arrived home from Sembawang Popular bookstore to buy Maths assesment book (I really found this assesment book really informative, so I bought it). Its very thick, containing over 500 questions, complete with tutorials, revision paper, and step-by-step answers. I wasn't really good at Maths, so I thought it would be helpful if I self-studied Maths with that book. The Casco brand assesment book is a must-have to those who are having trouble with Maths(costs $16.25, though).

Anyway, I was tired all that walking around to home today, so I decided to blog. The good thing about school this year is that we get to go home earlier than Sec 1s on most days(yay) and there's no SSTs this year(although Sec 1s also had no SSTs, which is unfair in a way to us Sec 2s). The guys in 1E1-I mean 2E1 are hasn't changed much(well, I don't see any changes in terms of nature and behaviour), but we have a new classmate from Indonesia and his name is Theo(aka The Math Pro), so I hope 2E1 will be better than last year.

I wasn't chosen as an SC ambassador, which is quite discouraging for me I guess, but at least I have time to study, cause my aim for this year is to get A1s for all my subjects.(although it is very difficult, it's not impossible to achieve). They say that SCs get to reduce their no. of points in GCE "O" levels(how lucky), so that means harder for me to get into poly, but I'll try my best!

I didn't really have anything going on, so I apologise if you had expected what's going on around me. Maybe during the weekends I'll write another blog. Until then, sayonara!

Happy New Year!/ 10:49 AM
Tuesday, January 1, 2008

Happy New Year people! Yesterday was the last day of 2007, and I'm already missing it. Tommorow's the 1st day of school this year, and I packed all my school stuff into my bag already.

Still, I don't know whether I'm ready or not. I mean, like yesterday was a holiday, the next day, school for weeks and months. I feel wierd shifting myself to school from the holidays all of a sudden. I know I'm going to miss the holidays, but I must confess that it was quite boring. Well to all my friends, see you in school tommorow!
